MBDA UK Ltd is offering a 10-week Integration & Missile Validation Engineer placement starting June 2027 in Stevenage. The role involves working across software, hardware and missile testing, with hands-on lab and offsite trials, data analysis and reporting.

Applicants should be current undergraduates in Engineering, Physics, Maths, Technology, Computing or general science. The package includes a pro-rata salary of £24,460, potential for a graduate role after the placement, pension up to 14%,

Qualifications

• Current undergraduate working towards a degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematical Sciences, Technology, Computing or a General Science discipline.

Responsibilities

• Ground Trials: test products under vibration, shock and climate conditions.
• Flight Trials: integrate subsystems on aircraft to simulate missile flight.
• Functional Integration: verify hardware and software work together as intended.
• Firing Trials: evaluate full weapon system performance for customers.
• In-Service Support: monitor and test ongoing products with customers.
• Support Trials: design test equipment and software to assist proving activities.
