Job summary

Ceredigion County Council is seeking a MIS Senior Operational Support Officer to join the Schools and Culture service in Aberaeron. You will manage learner information in MIS and e-portfolio systems, support teaching staff, and help promote courses via social media and the HCT website.

The role requires strong organisation, superb communication, and good numeracy. Welsh fluency on appointment is required, with flexible working and benefits on offer.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and numeracy skills.
• Strong ICT experience with modern software/tools.
• Professional yet approachable manner; able to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with awarding organisations and enter learner information into MIS and e-portfolio systems.
• Provide operational support to management and teaching staff.
• Create social media posts and promotional materials from information provided.
• Manage the HCT website and related communications.
