Job summary

Westmorland and Furness Council in Penrith is seeking an experienced MIS, Funding and Examinations Manager to lead data, funding compliance and examinations for Cumbria Adult Learning Service. The role provides strategic leadership to ensure accuracy and compliance of learner data and funding returns.

You will lead a skilled team, oversee ILR submissions and funding compliance, develop dashboards, and support quality improvement and learner success for around 6,000 adult learners annually.

We are looking for a talented MIS, Funding and Examinations Manager to lead our data, funding compliance, and examinations functions within Cumbria Adult Learning Service. This is a key management role, providing strategic leadership to ensure the accuracy, integrity and compliance of learner data, funding returns, and examinations processes.

You will lead a skilled team, oversee ILR submissions and funding compliance, develop insightful management information and dashboards, and play a pivotal role in supporting quality improvement and learner success across a service that supports around 6,000 adult learners each year.
