Job summary

USP College is seeking a proactive MIS Officer to maintain accurate learner data across information systems, underpinning funding, reporting and quality assurance in a busy FE environment. You will manage and update learner records, support timetabling, course changes and learner transfers, and lead data projects.

Training and guidance will be provided to ensure consistent data practices across the College.

Qualifications

• Strong data management skills and attention to detail.
• Advanced Excel skills including formulas, lookups and pivot tables.
• Experience with timetabling processes and FE data systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accuracy and credibility of learner records across information systems.
• Manage and update learner data throughout the academic year (enrolments, timetabling, transfers).
• Lead on data projects, implement new software, and improve processes.
• Produce guidance and deliver training to ensure consistent data practices.
• Work with external systems and agencies per data sharing agreements.
• Support audit, funding methodology, Ofsted data practices and quality processes.
