Job summary

Atkore is looking for an experienced rolling mill setter/operator in West Bromwich to support our continued growth. You will Set and operate roll forming equipment, maintain quality, and keep records in a 2-week rota schedule.

The role demands the ability to work as part of a team or alone, with a strong focus on safety and achieving targets while upholding ATIRE/SQDC values. 39 hours weekly, with rotating shifts and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• A good knowledge of Roll forming.
• Able to work as part of a team and as an individual.
• Motivation to beat targets safely and required quality standards.
• Ability to comply with and promote Atkore’s ATIRE and SQDC values.

Responsibilities

• Set and operate our roll forming equipment, presses and ancillary equipment.
• Produce parts at the correct rate and report any issues with achieving that rate.
• Take responsibility for the quality of the parts produced.
• Keep production and quality related records up to date.
• Ensure good levels of 5S are maintained in the area.
• Be involved in continuous improvement processes driving through improvements in all aspects of the role.
• Ensure Health & Safety procedures are followed.
• Performs Other Duties as Assigned

• Set and operate our roll forming equipment, presses and ancillary equipment

Hours of work will be 39 hours per week working 2-week rota shift pattern:

Shift 1 – Monday -Thursday 6am -2pm and Fridays 6am-1pm

Shift 2 – Monday-Thursday 2pm-10pm and Fridays 1pm-8pm

Shift 3 - Sunday - Wednesday 10pm-6am and Fridays 10pm -5am

Hourly pay rate - £13.00 depending on experience, plus 22% shift allowance for day shifts
