Job summary

Atkore is seeking an experienced press brake setter to support our growth in the UK. You will set and operate press brakes, program machines, and ensure parts meet quality standards while maintaining safety and cleanliness in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience of setting press brakes.
• Good knowledge of press brake operation.
• Able to work as part of a team and as an individual.
• Motivation to beat targets safely and meet quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Set and operate press brakes and ancillary equipment.
• Program press brake and adjust settings per quality drawings.
• Produce parts at the required rate and report issues to maintain throughput.
• Take responsibility for the quality of produced parts.
• Keep production and quality records up to date.
• Maintain high 5S standards in the work area.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Follow Health & Safety procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Who we are looking for:

Unistrut is looking for an experienced press brake setter to support our continued growth.

What you’ll do:

• Set and Operate Press Brakes and ancillary equipment
• Program press brake and make changes to settings in line with quality drawings
• Produce parts at the correct rate and report any issues with achieving that rate
• Take responsibility for the quality of the parts produced
• Keep production and quality related records up to date
• Ensure good levels of 5S are maintained in the area
• Be involved in continuous improvement processes driving through improvements in all aspects of the role
• Ensure Health & Safety procedures are followed
• Performs Other Duties as Assigned

What you bring:

Hours of work:

39 hours per week, working a rotating shift pattern:

Week 1: Monday - Thursday 6am - 2pm & Friday 6am - 1pm

Week 2: Monday - Thursday 2pm -10pm & Friday 1pm - 8pm

Salary:

Is depending on experience plus 22% shift allowance for rotating shifts
