Atkore on Greets Green Road in West Bromwich is seeking a rolling mill setter/operator to support steady growth. You will set and operate roll forming equipment and presses, ensuring parts are produced to rate while maintaining quality and safe practices.

Hours are 39 per week on a 2-week rota (days and evenings). Pay is £13.00 per hour with a 22% shift allowance for day shifts, plus extensive benefits including 25 days annual leave and a company pension.

• A good knowledge of Roll forming.
• Able to work as part of a team and as an individual.

Responsabilités

• Set and operate our roll forming equipment, presses and ancillary equipment.
• Produce parts at the correct rate and report any issues with achieving that rate.
• Take responsibility for the quality of the parts produced.
• Keep production and quality related records up to date.
• Ensure good levels of 5S are maintained in the area.
• Be involved in continuous improvement processes driving through improvements in all aspects of the role.
• Ensure Health & Safety procedures are followed.
• Performs Other Duties as Assigned.

Unistrut is looking for an experienced rolling mill setter/operator to support our continued growth.

What you’ll do:

• Set and operate our roll forming equipment, presses and ancillary equipment
• Produce parts at the correct rate and report any issues with achieving that rate
• Take responsibility for the quality of the parts produced
• Keep production and quality related records up to date
• Ensure good levels of 5S are maintained in the area
• Be involved in continuous improvement processes driving through improvements in all aspects of the role
• Ensure Health & Safety procedures are followed
• Performs Other Duties as Assigned

Hours of work will be 39 hours per week working 2-week rota shift pattern:

Shift 1 – Monday -Thursday 6am -2pm and Fridays 6am-1pm

Shift 2 – Monday-Thursday 2pm-10pm and Fridays 1pm-8pm

Shift 3 - Sunday - Wednesday 10pm-6am and Fridays 10pm -5am

Hourly pay rate - £13.00 depending on experience, plus 22% shift allowance for day shifts
