Who we are looking for:

Unistrut is looking for an experienced Extrusion Setter Operator to support our continued growth.

What you’ll do:

• Set up and operate extrusion machines to produce various plastic products according to specifications.
• Monitor the production process, adjusting as necessary to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with the extrusion equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance on the machines to keep them in optimal working condition.
• Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet quality standards.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Ensure scrap and non‑conforming products are kept to a minimum and disposed of correctly.

What you bring:

• Previous experience working on extrusion machines. Profile or conduit-tubes.
• Familiarity with logic controllers and tooling used in extrusion operations, training provided if need be.
• Ability to assemble.
• Mechanical knowledge to understand the operation of extrusion equipment.
• Able to work as part of a team and as an individual.
• To be able to read technical drawings.
• Ability to comply with and promote Atkore’s ATIRE and SQDC values.

Hours of work:

39 hours per week, working a 2 week rotating shift pattern

Salary available upon request and dependent on experience, plus 22% shift allowance for rotating shifts/ 25% shift allowance for night shifts.
