SMUK is recruiting a Business Development Manager for the Midlands, field-based with UK travel. You will target commercial fleet operators, develop opportunities from first contact to order, and work with internal teams to deliver Total Fleet Solutions.

A proactive, consultative seller with a track record in B2B and strong stakeholder engagement will thrive. You will manage a robust pipeline, forecast sales, and represent SMUK at industry events.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in B2B business development or field sales.
• Consultative selling approach with ability to tailor solutions.
• Strong communication, presentation and relationship-building skills.
• Experience engaging with senior decision-makers and managers.
• Excellent pipeline management and forecasting.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities with Midlands fleet operators.
• Build relationships with Fleet/Transport Managers and dealers.
• Understand customer fleet, safety and compliance needs and propose Total Fleet Solutions.
• Lead opportunities from initial engagement, through quotation, negotiation and order.
• Collaborate with Sales, Projects, Engineering and Operations teams to deliver viable solutions.
• Maintain a strong sales pipeline and accurate forecasts.
