Job summary

Westgate Primary School is seeking a friendly Midday Meals Supervisor to join our lunchtime team. You will supervise pupils during lunch, lead games, and support pupils as they eat, ensuring a safe and enjoyable lunchtime experience.

The role runs 5 hours per week across 38 weeks per year, Monday to Friday, with fixed-term status until 31 August 2027. A caring, calm and professional approach is essential for this busy school environment.

We are looking to recruit a friendly, flexible and caring Midday Meals Supervisor with high expectations to join our dedicated team. Working under the supervision and guidance of your line manager, you will help to supervise pupils during lunchtime, lead games and activities that develop children's social skills, and support pupils while they eat their lunch. We are proud to have a dedicated staff team who work closely together to ensure the very best outcomes for all our pupils.

Your role will include:

• Supervising pupils during lunchtime and playtime.
• Promoting kindness, cooperation and good behaviour.
• Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all pupils

• Supporting and encouraging pupils in their play and social interactions
