Job summary

Dunston Primary and Nursery Academy, part of the Minerva Learning Trust, is seeking a lunchtime supervisor. The role focuses on supporting our children during the lunchtime period, helping to supervise the dining area and outdoor play as needed.

Pay scale is NJC Grade 1, point 3 (£24,796 gross per annum). Contract: 7.08 hours per week, 38 weeks. Start date: As soon as possible. Applications may be discussed with Headteacher Louise Parker; closing date 4pm on Wednesday 30 September 2026.

Qualifications

• Diverse childcare and lunchtime supervision experience may be beneficial.
• DBS check is required for this role.

Responsibilities

• Support children during lunchtime period to ensure safe, orderly dining and play.
• Work as part of a positive team to deliver high-quality outcomes for pupils.
