Job summary

Minerva Learning Trust is seeking a friendly Lunchtime Supervisor to supervise pupils before, during and after the midday meal, including those bringing sandwiches. The role requires good communication skills, a flexible approach, and the ability to manage pupil behaviour in a calm, supportive manner.

You will work across the dining area and playground, uphold safeguarding standards, and contribute to a positive lunchtime experience for children across our Sheffield schools.

We are seeking to appoint a Lunchtime Supervisor with well-developedinterpersonal skills to:

• Supervision of pupilsimmediately before, during and after the midday meal. This includes provisionfor children who bring sandwiches.
• Supervision of the pupil’s entryinto the dining area, including supervision of pupils during any journey orwalk to the dining room.
• Supervision of pupils in theplayground

The successful candidate will have a flexible approach and theconfidence and presence to manage whole classes in a professional manner.Applicants should have good communication skills and the ability and desire towork with young people.
