Job summary

Midfield Primary School in London is seeking a friendly Midday Supervisor to join our lunchtime team. The role involves supervising children in the dining hall, on the playground, or in the classroom during wet play, ensuring safety, order and enjoyment during lunchbreaks.

Term-time hours total 7.5 per week across 38 weeks. Two contract options are available: 11:30am–1:00pm or 12:00pm–1:30pm, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Experience in supervising children during lunchtimes.
• Ability to promote good conduct and behavior.
• Willingness to undergo a DBS check and safeguarding processes.

Salary: £4,438 - £4,469 (FTE £25,522 - £25,703)

We are seeking to appoint an energetic and enthusiastic Midday Supervisor to join our lunchtime team. The successful candidate will have the health, safety and welfare of the children in mind at all times and the ability to work flexibly with colleagues.

The role of the Midday Supervisor is to supervise children in the dining hall, out on the playground or in the classroom during wet play. Promote high standards of conduct and behaviour, respecting the school’s codes. Plan, organise and supervise activities to provide an enjoyable lunchtime experience for all children.
