Job summary

Hatchside School, part of Astrum Multi Academy Trust, is seeking a Midday Assistant to support pupils with complex needs during lunchtime. You will help manage mealtime routines, encourage social interaction, and assist with personal care where needed.

This part-time role offers a rewarding chance to contribute to the wellbeing and development of our pupils in a supportive school environment. The role includes induction and ongoing professional development under the Academy Principal.

Qualifications

About the Role

As a Midday Assistant, you’ll play a key role in supporting pupils with complex needs during the lunchtime period. You’ll help create a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment—supporting mealtime routines, encouraging social interaction, and assisting with personal care where needed.
