Job summary

National Highways is recruiting for a Senior Service Delivery Manager to lead MIDAS, a critical roadside technology service. You will drive fault and problem management, coordinate with suppliers and internal teams, and ensure continual service improvements and strong performance data reporting.

The role requires ITIL experience, a relevant engineering/IT degree, and a proven ability to influence executive-level stakeholders in a large operational environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Operational Technology, Information Technology or a related discipline.
• ITIL qualification (preferably ITIL 4 or V5).
• Significant experience managing complex, business-critical IT or Operational Technology services.
• Experience managing technology services that support operational decision-making or safety-critical environments.
• Proven track record delivering measurable service improvements via data analysis, stakeholder engagement and supplier management.
• Ability to interpret complex technical information and make decisions in fast-paced environments.
• Excellent communication and ability to present performance information to executives.

Responsibilities

• Owns operational performance for MIDAS and related roadside technology services.
• Lead fault, event and problem management and drive continual service improvement.
• Collaborate with design, procurement, asset management and suppliers to feed lessons learned into the lifecycle.
• Manage service performance data, risk, budgets and reporting to stakeholders.
• Support national deployment and optimisation of digital roadside solutions.
