Job summary

National Highways is seeking a Senior Service Delivery Manager for MIDAS to own the operational performance and continual service enhancements of a critical roadside technology service. You will lead fault, event and problem management, driving improvements and coordinating with suppliers and asset teams to deliver reliable journeys.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Operational Technology, Information Technology or a related discipline, with an ITIL qualification.
• Significant experience managing complex, business-critical IT or Operational Technology services within a large-scale operational environment.
• Proven ability to deliver measurable service improvements through data analysis, stakeholder engagement and supplier management.

Responsibilities

• Lead the operational performance, reliability, resilience and continual improvement of MIDAS (Motorway Incident Detection and Automatic Signalling).
• Oversee fault, event and problem management and direct resources for service improvement.
• Collaborate with design, procurement, asset managers and suppliers to feed lessons learned into the asset lifecycle.
• Ensure robust financial management of contracts, monitoring, reporting and service performance.
