The Customer...

We have partnered with a global Microsoft Security Solutions Partner + MISA Awards Finalist to build their Security Business Development and Account Management team in an exciting new strategy.

This global business is growing; they are a Microsoft-first security company, also selling wider vendor services. They are a Microsoft Managed, a MISA (Microsoft Intelligent Security Association) member awards finalist. They focus on the larger SMC sector and Enterprise across multiple verticals and now seek motivated Security BDMs to support their journey.

Ideal candidates are those with experience in cybersecurity sales, managed security, or PS consulting, with established contacts at Microsoft to facilitate sales growth.

Requirements include:

  • Understanding and experience selling MXDR and professional security services/consulting.
  • Access to tools and credibility to succeed as a MISA member and awards finalist.
  • Ability to leverage customer IP products and vendor relationships for direct customer engagement.
  • Motivated and experienced in new logo sales, with a desire to deepen security expertise.

Support components include solid presales, MVP-level consulting allies, and customer-specific products.

Managed Security Services:

  • Managed XDR

PS/Consulting Services:

  • Cloud Security, Defender for Cloud/Entra/Intune
  • Purview Compliance/Data Governance
  • Security Copilot

Responsibilities:

  • Grow business within new accounts.
  • Build relationships with prospective clients and vendors, including Microsoft.
  • Create and manage sales pipeline across security services, consulting, and presales.
  • Maintain contact with existing clients.
  • Track key metrics.
  • Understand customer security posture and identify solutions.
  • Advise customers on suitable security services and solutions.

Key Experience:

  • Full sales cycle experience, including closing deals.
  • Experience with Microsoft Managed and/or Professional Security Services.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Security stack and vendor licensing models (MXDR, cloud, IAM, Purview, Copilot for Security).
  • Ability to discuss solutions with customers.
  • Proven sales success and ability to meet targets.
  • Experience selling MXDR/MDR services into new customers.
  • Experience with security services/solutions from Microsoft or other vendors.
