Microsoft Security Business Development Manager x3

Focus on multi-vendor Microsoft-first security services including Cyber Security, MXDR, Cloud, IAM, Data, and AI.

We have partnered with a global Microsoft Security Solutions Partner + MISA Awards Finalist to build their Security Business Development and Account Management team.

This company is a Microsoft-first security business, also selling wider vendor services. They are a MISA member and awards finalist, focusing on the SMC sector and Enterprise across various industries. They seek motivated security sales professionals, preferably with experience in managed security or professional consulting, to leverage their Microsoft relationships and grow their security offerings.

Requirements include:

• Experience selling MXDR and security consulting/services.
• Ability to use provided tools and credibility to succeed in a Microsoft Security-focused environment.
• Motivated, experienced in new logo acquisition, with a desire to deepen security expertise.

They provide customer IP products, a global sales operation, and strong vendor relationships.

Managed Security Services:

• Managed XDR

Professional Services/Consulting:

• Cloud Security, Defender for Cloud/Entra/Intune
• Purview Compliance/Data Governance
• Security Copilot

Responsibilities:

• Grow business in new accounts.
• Build relationships with prospects and vendors, including Microsoft.
• Manage sales pipeline for security services and consulting.
• Maintain contact with existing clients.
• Track key metrics.
• Understand customer security posture and identify opportunities.
• Advise customers on suitable security solutions.

Key Experience:

• Full sales cycle experience with successful deal closing.
• Experience with Microsoft Managed and/or Professional Security Services.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Security stack and other vendor licensing models (MXDR, cloud, IAM, Purview, Copilot for Security).
• Ability to discuss solutions with customers.
• Proven sales targets achievement in security services.
• Experience selling MXDR/MDR services into new customers.
• Interest in Microsoft and other security vendor services.
