Job summary

Warrens at Crick is seeking reliable MHE Operatives to join a busy ambient warehouse operation. You will operate MHE such as reach trucks and PPTs, support stock movements, loading and inbound activity, and perform equipment checks.

The role requires forklift experience, a safe working approach and a flexible, team-oriented mindset. Shift pattern is 4 on 4 off days, starting 06:00.

Qualifications

• Previous forklift experience within a warehouse/logistics/distribution setting.
• Reach Truck forklift experience is advantageous.
• In-house licences from previous employers with relevant practical experience.
• Strong focus on safe working practices and attention to detail.
• Reliable, flexible and team-focused approach.
• Availability to work a 4 on 4 Dayshift pattern.

Responsibilities

• Operate MHE safely and efficiently, including reach trucks and PPT equipment.
• Support the movement, replenishment and put-away of stock within the warehouse.
• Assist with loading, unloading and inbound activity following site procedures.
• Complete vehicle, equipment and safety checks in line with standards.
• Use scanners or warehouse systems to maintain stock integrity.
• Collaborate with the warehouse team to keep the operation moving.

Job Description

We are looking for reliable and motivated MHE Operatives to join Warrens at our Crick site joining a busy ambient warehouse operation. Working across our Bread and Cake Distribution sites, you will play a key role in keeping products moving safely, accurately and efficiently through the warehouse.

This is a great opportunity for candidates with previous MHE experience who enjoy working in a fast-paced logistics environment and are confident operating equipment such as reach trucks and PPTs, while supporting loading, inbound and stock movement activity.

Shift pattern:4 on 4 off Days from 06:00 - 18:00

Salary:£14.70 per hour

What you'll be doing:

• Operate MHE safely and efficiently, including reach trucks and PPT equipment where required.
• Support the movement, replenishment and put-away of stock within the warehouse.
• Assist with loading, unloading and inbound activity while following site procedures.
• Complete vehicle, equipment and safety checks in line with operational standards.
• Use scanners or warehouse systems accurately to help maintain stock integrity.
• Work closely with the wider warehouse team to keep the operation moving at pace.
