Job summary

Great Bear, part of the Culina Group, is hiring a Warehouse Operative in Milton Keynes to join a fast-paced beverage warehouse operation. This hands-on role keeps stock moving accurately, safely and efficiently as part of a reliable team.

The position is full-time, permanent with a 4 On 4 Off dayshift (06:00am–18:00pm). Salary is £30,024.90 per annum, with benefits and opportunities for development within logistics.

Qualifications

• Recent warehouse experience in a fast-paced environment is an advantage.
• Confident working to clear targets and KPI’s and delivering strong performance.
• PPT experience is essential for this role.
• Strong verbal communication and numerical accuracy.
• Reliable, hardworking and committed to doing the job well.

Responsibilities

• Pick stock and orders from set locations within the warehouse.
• Loading customer pallets onto trailers using MHE
• Ensure the correct amount of product is picked
• Maintain high levels of Health & Safety at all times
• Maintaining high levels of housekeeping throughout the warehouse
• Maintain good communication with Team Leaders and Managers
• Monitor and maintain the required housekeeping standards.
• Maintain Health and Safety via compliance with risk assessment guidelines ensuring that any issues are brought to the attention of the warehouse Team Leader and Manager.
• Ensure compliance with warehouse procedures for the reporting of damages
• Ensure compliance while checking / operating MHE equipment

We have a fantastic opportunity for Warehouse Operatives to join our Milton Keynes team, supporting one of our key beverage warehouse operations in a fast-paced, modern environment. This is a hands-on role where you will play an important part in keeping stock moving accurately, safely and efficiently while being part of a reliable and supportive team.
