Job summary

Great Bear, part of the Culina Group, is seeking an experienced MHE Trainer to join the Worksop team. You will deliver high-quality operator training, inductions and refresher sessions to permanent and agency colleagues, with a focus on safe working practices across all shifts.

You will train on the Fleet Management System, keep accurate records, develop a site skills matrix, and assist with risk assessments and incident investigations.

Qualifications

• Deliver high-quality MHE training, inductions and refresher sessions for permanent and agency colleagues.
• Train MHE operators on the Fleet Management System and ensure colleagues are confident using the correct processes.
• Process training in other areas of the warehouse, including but not limited to bays, pick etc.
• Maintain accurate training records and support the development of a site skills matrix to track operator competence.
• Complete workplace assessments to ensure MHE operators remain safe, capable and compliant.
• Support risk assessments, Safe Systems of Work and hazard controls to reduce risk across MHE activities.
• Assist with investigations into MHE-related incidents, identifying learnings and helping prevent repeat occurrences.
• Work closely with operational management to cover training requirements across shifts and provide accurate KPI and monthly reporting.

We’re looking for an experienced MHE Trainer to join our Great Bear team in Worksop, who will play a key role in delivering training to MHE operators to ensure safe working practices and a continual reduction in MHE accident/incidents.

We have 2 permanent, full‑time positions available working Monday to Friday on the shifts below:

• Rotating shift pattern between 06:00 – 14:00 and 14:00 – 22:00
• Nights between 22:00 – 06:00

What you’ll be doing
