Job summary

Great Bear, part of the Culina Group, is recruiting Warehouse Operatives for Port Salford on a permanent, full-time basis. You will work 4 on 4 off nights (18:00–06:00), 40.25 hours per week, and perform stock-picking, pallet loading with MHE, and maintenance of safety and housekeeping standards.

Qualifications

• PPT/Electric Pump Truck experience is essential.

Responsibilities

• Pick stock and orders from designated warehouse locations.
• Load customer pallets onto trailers using MHE.
• Ensure correct quantities are picked.
• Maintain health & safety at all times and housekeeping standards.
• Communicate with Team Leaders and Managers; report damages and issues.
• Operate and check MHE equipment in line with procedures.

We are now recruiting for Warehouse Operativesto join us atPort Salfordon apermanentandfull-time basis.

Shift: 4 on 4 off Nights, 18:00 – 06:00, 40.25 hours per week

Salary: £28,324 per annum

• Pick stock and orders from set locations within the warehouse.
• Loading customer pallets onto trailers using MHE
• Ensure the correct amount of product is picked
• Maintain high levels of Health & Safety at all times
• Maintaining high levels of housekeeping throughout the warehouse
• Maintain good communication with Team Leaders and Managers
• Monitor and maintain the required housekeeping standards.
• Maintain Health and Safety via compliance with risk assessment guidelines ensuring that any issues are brought to the attention of the warehouse Team Leader and Manager.
• Ensure compliance with warehouse procedures for the reporting of damages
• Ensure compliance while checking / operating MHE equipment

• Minimum of PPT/Electric Pump Truck experience is essential for this role.
• Able to work efficiently in a fast-moving environment.
• Expected to operate all MHE required to deliver operational requirements both current and future- training will be provided
• Must possess a reasonable level of verbal & numerical reasoning
