AFI Group invites applications for a MEWPS Engineer based in Wakefield. The role covers PDIs, servicing, LOLER inspections, repairs, and manufacturer updates to keep our rental fleet in top condition.

You will attend on-site breakdowns, record checks on a PDA, and collaborate with the engineering team and hire office to maximise machine availability for customers. A valid IPAF licence is required; CAP licence is desirable.

Qualificações

• Engineering qualification (NVQ level 2 or equivalent).
• Competent in electro/hydraulic systems.
• Fault-finding/diagnostics experience.
• Good communication with customers and colleagues.
• Able to prioritise tasks in a demanding hire environment.
• IPAF Operator licence/certification required.
• CAP licence desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Carry out PDIs, servicing, LOLER inspections, repairs and manufacturer updates; maintain fleet image.
• Attend breakdowns on customer sites to restore machine availability.
• Accurately record checks using a company PDA and follow procedures.
• Communicate with engineering team and hire office to maximise depot machine availability.
