Job summary

Auto Skills UK is seeking a skilled MET Technician / Strip Fitter to join a leading bodyshop in Milton Keynes. You will repair damaged vehicles in line with manufacturers' specifications using modern equipment.

Candidates should have completed an apprenticeship and hold a relevant technical qualification (NVQ/VCQ/SVQ/ATA). You will work in a fast-paced centre and strive for customer satisfaction and high-quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• You will have served a recognised apprenticeship as a MET Technician / Strip Fitter.
• You must have gained a technical qualification (such as NVQ/VCQ/SVQ/ATA).
• Experience in a busy body shop is advantageous.

OTE:£57,000

MET Technician / Strip Fitter details:

Salary:£46,000 - £53,000

Working Hours:Monday to Friday 7.30am - 5pm

Location:Milton Keynes

Talented and efficient MET Technician/ Strip Fitter to join this leading team.

As a MET Technician / Strip Fitter, you will be repairing damaged vehicles in line with the manufacturers' specifications within a state-of-the-art Bodyshop, utilising modern equipment and techniques.

Responsibilities of an MET Technician / Strip Fitter

Work efficiently in a fast-paced accident repair centre.

Follow the correct repair techniques and produce work in line with factory specifications and customer satisfaction.

Skills and Qualifications of an MET Technician / Strip Fitter

You will have served a recognised apprenticeship as a MET Technician / Strip Fitter and gained a technical qualification (such as NVQ / VCQ / SVQ / ATA).

You must have previous experience working as a MET Technician / Strip Fitter within a busy body shop and be a strong team player with a self-motivation to earn bonus hours.

You will work to the highest standard and demonstrate a sound up-to-date knowledge of vehicle repair techniques.
