Job summary

Auto Skills UK is recruiting a MET Technician / Strip Fitter in Swindon. You will work in a fast-paced accident repair centre, repairing vehicles to factory specifications with modern equipment.

The role requires an apprenticeship and a technical qualification (NVQ/VCQ/SVQ/ATA) and proven experience in a busy body shop. You will be a strong team player with self-motivation to earn bonus hours and maintain high standards.

Salary is £45,000 - £60,000 per year, with 42.5 hours per week.

Qualifications

• You will have served a recognised apprenticeship as a MET Technician / Strip Fitter and gained a technical qualification (such as NVQ / VCQ / SVQ / ATA).
• You must have previous experience working as a MET Technician / Strip Fitter within a busy body shop and be a strong team player with a self‑motivation to earn bonus hours.
• You will work to the highest standard and demonstrate a sound up‑to‑date knowledge of vehicle repair techniques.

MET TECHNICIAN/ STRIP FITTER

MET Technician / Strip Fitter details:

Salary: £45,000 - £60,000

Talented and efficient MET Technician/ Strip Fitter to join this leading team.

As a MET Technician / Strip Fitter, you will be repairing damaged vehicles in line with the manufacturers' specifications within a state-of-the‑art Bodyshop, utilising modern equipment and techniques.
