Halfords is looking for a Merchandise Planner to join the Retail Supply Chain team in Redditch. You will own stock and forecasting for key categories, partnering with Buyers, Marketing and Logistics to drive commercial success.

In this hybrid role, you’ll manage intake plans, support multichannel performance, and maintain strong supplier relationships to optimise stock flow and profitability.

Responsibilities

• Lead inventory stock budgets and ensure delivery against KPIs.
• Own sales forecasting for designated categories with trading teams and suppliers.
• Develop intake plans aligned to budget and trading priorities.
• Influence sales, margin, and volume forecasts with Buyers.
• Shape space-planning decisions through cross-functional collaboration.
