Job summary

Kier Group plc is seeking an MEP Technical Supervisor to join the Rail team on nationwide projects across the UK. You will oversee on-site M&E installations, ensure drawings, specifications and standards are met, and act as the client's representative to maintain quality and safety.

Your day-to-day includes inspections, witnessing testing, maintaining site records, and coordinating with subcontractors to ensure timely and compliant delivery of works.

Qualifications

• Technical qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
• Extensive experience in M&E building services/E&P installation, inspection, testing and commissioning.
• Strong knowledge of building regulations, standards, and health and safety requirements.
• Testing and Commissioning qualification (C&G 2391 or similar) and CSCS card or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and inspect M&E/E&P installations to ensure compliance with drawings and specs.
• Conduct routine and ad hoc inspections, ensuring health and safety compliance.
• Maintain detailed site records and progress documentation.
• Oversee testing and commissioning to verify design intent and performance.
• Coordinate between the Construction Responsible Engineer and subcontractors.
