Kier Group plc is recruiting an MEP Technical Supervisor for nationwide rail projects. You will oversee mechanical and electrical installations, ensuring work complies with drawings, specifications and safety standards on-site across the UK.

As the client’s on-site representative, you will supervise testing and commissioning, maintain detailed records, coordinate with subcontractors, and drive quality and regulatory compliance on multi-disciplinary rail schemes.

Qualifications

• Hold a technical qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
• Extensive experience in M&E building services/E&P installation, inspection, testing and commissioning.
• Knowledge of relevant building regulations, standards, and health & safety requirements.

Responsabilités

• Monitoring and inspecting M&E/E&P installations to ensure compliance with drawings, specs and industry standards.
• Conducting routine and ad hoc inspections, ensuring health, safety and environmental regulations are met.
• Maintaining detailed site records, including inspection reports, site instructions and progress photos.
• Overseeing, witnessing and verifying testing and commissioning activities to ensure system performance meets design intent.
• Acting as the link between the Construction Responsible Engineer and subcontractors for smooth coordination.
