Job summary

Balfour Beatty VINCI is leading the Midlands section of HS2, based in Birmingham. This Project Controls role supports governance, cost management and reporting across MEP packages for a major transport infrastructure program.

You will work with project managers, commercial teams and subcontractors to ensure accurate forecasting, risk management and timely decision-making on a high-profile construction project in the Central Region.

Qualifications

• Experience in Project Controls, Cost Control, Planning, Project Management.
• Experience on MEP, building services, or major construction projects.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced Excel skills and data-driven reporting.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain project control processes across MEP packages.
• Monitor performance against programme, cost, quality and delivery targets.
• Assist in cost reporting, forecasts and cash flow projections.
• Maintain change control logs and assess impact of variations.
• Support risk identification, registers and mitigation actions.
• Produce weekly and monthly project controls reports and dashboards.
