Job summary

Pen Bryn is a Keys Group residential care home in Porth offering supported living for adults with complex needs. We are hiring a Support Worker to provide daily care, independence support, and health/medication assistance.

No prior experience required as full training is provided; 35 hours per week at £13.45–£14.15 per hour. DBS is paid, with opportunities for qualifications and career development.

• Day-to-day support and routine of the people we support.
• Promoting independence while helping them live a fulfilling life.
• Supporting and encouraging the development of personal skills through hobbies and interests.
• Maintaining and assisting with health care needs, including accompanying to routine appointments or administering medication.
• Teaching life skills such as budgeting, paying bills and shopping.
• Assisting with personal care as required.
• Assisting with domestic tasks including cleaning and cooking.
• Providing guidance and encouragement through physical and emotional support.
