Job summary

Hestia Housing and Support is seeking a Recovery Worker for MHCA Waltham Forest to manage a caseload focused on crisis de-escalation and early intervention, delivering person-centred support to promote recovery and independence.

You will work with mental health services and community teams, deliver group activities, and maintain records while complying with contractual requirements. Evening and weekend work may be required, and prior experience in crisis environments is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting people with mental health needs and complex presentations.
• Ability to assess and manage risk in multi-agency environments.
• Strong communication skills with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of individuals requiring mental health crisis de-escalation and early intervention.
• Develop and review person-centred support plans and deliver tailored interventions.
• Build partnerships with mental health services, community teams, and local organisations.
• Deliver group activities and maintain accurate records, referrals and reviews.
