Job summary

Hestia is seeking a Support Worker for our Complex Needs Service in Tower Hamlets. The role focuses on preparing service users to move towards independent living in the community, starting from the outset of tenancy and guiding recovery and independence over an agreed period.

You will work both independently and as part of a team, supporting individuals with mental health and dual diagnosis needs, ensuring safeguarding and collaboration with NHS and other services.

Qualifications

• Strong IT, literacy and numeracy skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience supporting individuals with mental health and dual diagnosis needs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare individuals to move on to independent living in the community.
• Support service users to step down from intensive support to higher, medium or lower needs and prepare for tenancy.
• Collaborate with statutory services and maintain health and safety awareness in frontline settings.
