Job summary

Cygnet Hospital Bury Hudson is seeking an enthusiastic Activity Coordinator to support the Occupational Therapist and help patients engage in meaningful activities.

You will work 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, within a secure mental health environment for men, with opportunities for CPD and professional development.

Salary is £13.15 per hour, with a company pension, free meals, and access to research and clinical supervision to support your ongoing development.

Qualifications

• Experience or passion for healthcare and supportive care.
• Some knowledge of Occupational Therapy and its applications.
• Ability to contribute ideas and plan engaging activities.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Occupational Therapist by supporting activity engagement for patients.
• Plan and implement therapy programmes and obtain materials as needed.
• Contribute ideas and help facilitate safe events and activities.
