  • Proactively track and report on event management status and expenditure.
  • Maintain accurate event details within our systems and provide insightful statistics for reporting purposes.
  • Support post-event processes, including impactful follow-up communications (emails, website updates, news and blog posts) and feedback collection.
  • Assist the Membership Manager in gathering and analysing member feedback to drive continuous improvement in our event programme.
  • Contribute to the planning of future event programmes, ensuring member feedback is central to our approach.
  • Collaborate with teams across DEBRA UK to explore opportunities for member involvement in broader organisational events.

What We are Looking For:

  • Proven experience in event management within a professional context (both online and offline).
  • Strong technical skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, online event platforms, project tracking software, CRM databases, and basic webpage maintenance.
  • Demonstrable experience in designing and implementing efficient team project processes.
  • Confidence and ability to independently host small member events.
  • Some experience in communication planning for diverse audiences.

  • A highly organised individual with excellent time management and problem-solving abilities.
  • Confidence and competence in learning and using new software.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, for engaging with individuals via email, phone, and in person.
  • A proactive and confident approach to building relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Ability to drive and travel to locations independently.
  • Comfort in working with third-party suppliers and managing contracts.
  • A collaborative spirit with the ability to work effectively across different teams.
