Job summary

Glanua in the UK is seeking a MEICA Project Manager to lead the MEICA scope across wastewater infrastructure projects from design through construction, commissioning and handover. You will drive programme, commercial and HSQE activities within a one-team culture, coordinating with civil, process and external teams.

The role requires 3–5 years' relevant MEICA experience, strong communication, and a right mix of technical and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years' experience in a similar MEICA/project manager role in water/wastewater
• Degree in Civil/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or Level 8 in Environmental Science or Chemistry
• Knowledge of Safety, Health and Welfare at Work regulations
• Certificate in Managing Safely for Construction Managers preferable
• Experience in MEICA engineering works: process systems, electrical installations, commissioning
• Ability to liaise with clients, suppliers and subcontractors in financial negotiations
• Confident with MS Project and baseline programme creation
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Full driving license and good communication skills

Responsibilities

• Deliver one or more projects with a "one team" ethos
• Ensure Health, Safety, Environmental & Sustainability standards on-site
• Collaborate with clients, client reps and third-party agencies
• Lead the MEICA scope of works across projects
• Coordinate with civil/building and process teams
• Manage PSDP/PSCS roles and on-site documentation
• Apply Lean Construction and Last Planner practices
• Monitor risk, identify opportunities and report on performance
• Oversee procurement and subcontracting within budget
• Manage cashflow and interim payments with the Commercial Manager
• Mentor staff and develop development plans for the team
• Support tender opportunities and client/stakeholder engagement
• Share lessons learned and CPD to improve delivery
• Stay updated on industry standards and technology
• Perform additional duties as required
