Job summary

Arup in the United Kingdom offers a 10–12 month internship where you will work alongside skilled professionals from day one on real projects, learning through sessions with leadership, site visits to local projects and a range of social events that support your development.

Qualifications

• Studying towards a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Interest in solving problems that affect the way we live.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical systems for water and wastewater treatment works.
• Support pumping stations, reservoirs, flood resilience assets and water transmission schemes.
• Produce power distribution, motor control, cable, lighting and earthing designs and deliver instrumentation, control and automation solutions alongside electrical design.
• Work with ICA specialists to ensure treatment processes and pumping systems can be operated, monitored and controlled safely and efficiently.
• Collaborate with mechanical, process, civil, structural and BIM teams.
• Support projects from feasibility and concept design through to detailed design, installation and commissioning.
