Job summary

The Municipal Hotel & Spa MGallery Liverpool is seeking a proactive Meetings & Events Supervisor to lead our ME team and ensure flawless events. You will oversee setup, delivery and breakdown of conferences, private dining, weddings and special occasions while coordinating with Sales, Kitchen and Front Office teams.

You will motivate the ME team, maintain service standards and drive guest satisfaction through proactive problem solving and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Meetings & Events supervisory role.
• Passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
• Strong leadership and ability to develop a team.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise setup, service and breakdown of meetings, conferences and events.
• Lead the Meetings & Events team during service for exceptional guest experiences.
• Welcome event organisers and delegates with a professional, personalised approach.
• Review and implement BEOs to ensure all event requirements are met.
• Conduct daily team briefings and coordinate room layouts and AV requirements.
• Act as main contact during events, managing requests and adapting to client needs.
• Coordinate with Sales & Events and Kitchen teams for flawless execution.
• Monitor event flow and staffing levels to maintain service standards.
• Support revenue growth through upselling and customer engagement.
