Job summary

The Municipal Hotel & Spa MGallery Liverpool is seeking a Meetings & Events Supervisor to lead the team through the setup, delivery and breakdown of meetings, conferences, private dining events, weddings and special occasions.

You will supervise service, ensure outstanding guest experiences, coordinate with multiple departments and adapt to changing client needs, while maintaining brand standards and a positive Heartist® culture.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Meetings & Events, Banqueting or Food & Beverage supervisory role.
• A passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and bank holidays.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the setup, service and breakdown of meetings, conferences, private dining and special events.
• Lead and motivate the Meetings & Events team during service to ensure guest experiences.
• Welcome event organisers and delegates with a warm, professional, personalised experience.
• Review BEOs and ensure all event requirements are delivered accurately.
• Coordinate room layouts, AV requirements, signage and event materials.
• Act as main point of contact during events and adapt to changing client needs.
