This is an exciting opportunity to work within integrated care to support the secretarial team with providing accurate, relevant and timely information to support clinical staff and peers in delivering high quality patient care and meeting the business needs of the Trust.
You will be based at Airedale General Hospital working as part of an administration team to provide a comprehensive administrative service. We are looking for someone with OCR and Text Processing qualifications or experience and excellent communication skills to support the team and Business Manager in the day-to-day running of the service.
You will enjoy excellent support networks and peer review/supervision along with the opportunity to work with our friendly and enthusiastic team.

To work as part of a secretarial team to provide a comprehensive administrative and secretarial service to the consultant workforce. Support the Patient Service Manager and Hub Leader in the day-to-day running of the specialty secretarial team. Ensure compliance with the NHS Constitution and be familiar with NHS England Guidance 'Understanding the new NHS'.

Main duties include supporting the specialty team with administrative tasks, maintaining patient records, supporting clinical workflows, managing correspondence, and organizing meetings. The role involves creating and maintaining effective patient and file management systems, managing workload to meet deadlines, and supporting team development and training. Deputising for the Line Manager and supporting team members are also part of the role.
Work flexibly within core hours, support the team, and participate in team meetings and training. Oversee the day-to-day work of administrative staff within the team.
This post requires a DBS check due to the nature of the role.
Salary: £24,625 to £25,674 per annum, pro-rata.
