We are currently looking for an experienced part-time Medical Secretary to join our team at Hayes Grove.

The ideal candidate will have excellent administration and typing skills, with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, and the ability to lead and work well within an established team.

Key responsibilities include prioritising workloads, meeting deadlines, functioning well under pressure, communicating effectively and sensitively with service users and their relatives, using initiative appropriately, supporting general administrative tasks, document and report production, managing telephone enquiries, diary management, scanning, and copying.

This role supports all clinical areas of the hospital and may involve ward-based administrative duties along with those based in the admin office. The post holder must follow defined processes and procedures, prioritise tasks to meet deadlines, and handle confidential and sensitive data in line with regulatory requirements. IT confidence and ability are essential, and the post-holder may be required to undertake other duties or projects within their capabilities.
