Westbourne Medical Centre in Tees Valley is seeking a flexible and empathetic Medical Receptionist to join our small, friendly team on a part-time basis. The role involves welcoming patients, handling enquiries by phone and in person, and supporting clinicians with admin tasks including prescription processing and appointment follow-ups.

We are looking for a flexible, confident and empathetic person to join our friendly and dedicated Reception Team. This is a part time position for a Medical Receptionist. Experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided. Working hours are to be discussed at interview but will contain 8am starts and a 6pm finishes.
Main aspect of the role is to be the first point of contact for patients, secondary care and outside agencies. You will need a positive attitude and excellent communication skills. You will be required to provide admin support to our Clinicians by processing various tasks including prescriptions and follow up appointments whilst adhering to Practice policies and maintaining confidentiality at all times.
We are a small practice based in North Ormesby, we have 4 GPs, 1 Nurse Practitioner, 1 Practice Nurse and 1 Health Care Assistant supported by our dedicated Reception / Admin Team. We take pride in offering an excellent service to our patients whilst supporting each other. To provide general assistance tothe practice team and project a positive and friendly image to both patientsand other visitors, in person or via the telephone.
To ensure all reception duties are undertaken efficiently andpromptly.
