Job summary

Britvic is offering a 4-year Engineering Apprenticeship at Beckton, with travel to Coventry for early training. You will work toward a Level 3 Mechatronics Maintenance Technician apprenticeship, followed by a Level 4 HNC top-up, combining college study with site-based learning.

Starting August 2027, the program covers mechanical, electrical and automation skills, with day-release study from Year 2 and possible night shifts in Year 4.

Qualifications

• GCSEs 4-9 (incl Maths and English) and a science subject.
• A genuine interest in engineering and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Complete college, apprenticeship and HNC requirements with portfolio records.
• Maintain safety and follow site requirements for health and quality.
• Build mechanical, electrical, controls and automation skills through structured training.
• Support technicians with maintenance, fault-finding and repairs.
• Record work and parts used in maintenance systems.
• Participate in problem-solving and continuous improvement activities.
• Support shutdowns and upkeep of engineering standards.
• Collaborate with site teams and learn from colleagues.
