Job summary

Mars Apprenticeship at King's Lynn offers a 4-year pathway toward the Level 3 Mechatronics Maintenance Technician qualification. You will receive top training, mentored by Technical Associates, and real responsibility while gaining on‑the‑job experience across plant operations.

Salary starts at £21,000 with annual increases and a bonus; benefits are included. Applicants must be 18+ and able to travel to the King's Lynn site.

Qualifications

• 5 GCSEs: Maths at B/5+, English at C/4+, plus Science and two other subjects
• demonstrable interest in Engineering and Leadership
• ability to work as part of a team
• desire to learn
• 18+ by 6 September 2027 and willing to travel to King's Lynn site
• no more than 2 years engineering experience or higher qualifications than NVQ Level 3 in engineering

Responsibilities

• Learning how to maintain our plant
• Learning how to diagnose complex mechanical and electrical faults
• Learning how to repair our equipment; applying Mars quality and safety systems
• Working across Mechanical, Electrical and Utilities areas in the factory
• On completion, demonstrate leadership, ownership and accountability for equipment and coaching others
