Job summary

Mars is offering a 4-year Apprenticeship in Slough, starting with the Level 3 Mechatronics Maintenance Technician qualification. You will receive mentoring, hands-on experience, and formal training through Mars University during the programme.

Earn £21,000 per year with annual raises on each academic year, plus an annual bonus and benefits. Travel to Slough and Uxbridge College is required; shifts may be part of the role and you must be 18+ by 6 September 2027.

Qualifications

• 5 GCSEs: Maths at Grade B/5 or above, English at Grade C/4 or above, plus Science and any two other subjects
• Demonstrable interest in Engineering and Leadership
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Desire to learn and progress through training
• Willing to travel to Slough site and Uxbridge College

Responsibilities

• Learn how to maintain Mars plant and equipment
• Diagnose complex mechanical and electrical faults
• Repair equipment with supervision
• Apply Mars quality and safety systems to protect people and products
• Work across Mechanical, Electrical and Utilities areas in the factory
