Job summary

Rolls-Royce plc in Ansty is seeking Mechatronic Technician for Machine Tool Maintenance. You will support Manufacturing Services to ensure equipment is safe, available and performing to standard.

You will work with site engineers and OEMs to diagnose and improve asset performance, coordinating with production teams and contributing to continuous improvements. The role requires an advanced engineering apprenticeship and related qualifications, with strong electrical/mechanical knowledge and basic

Qualifications

• Completed an advanced modern engineering apprenticeship* and an NVQ/SVQ/City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent qualification, with previous experience with aerospace components would be preferable.
• Good understanding of electrical principles.
• Basic understanding of mechanical, hydraulic pneumatics principles and operation.
• Basic IT literacy.
• Understanding of local and regional HSE Standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform a range of routine, reactive, troubleshooting and preventive maintenance tasks across a broad range of manufacturing assets and production equipment to ensure safe, available and capable equipment.
• Utilise precision diagnostic instruments during maintenance.
• Analyse equipment data to inform and implement effective maintenance approaches.
• Read and interpret drawings, diagrams, manuals and catalogs for maintenance and diagnostics.
