Job summary

Rolls-Royce Corporation in Ansty, England, invites applications for a Machine Tool Maintenance – Mechatronic Technician. You will perform preventive and reactive maintenance on aerospace manufacturing assets, read schematics, and coordinate with production teams to optimise equipment availability and safety.

The role requires an advanced apprenticeship and Level 3 NVQ/SVQ or equivalent, with electrical and hydraulic/pneumatic knowledge, plus IT literacy and HSE compliance.

Qualifications

• Completed an advanced modern engineering apprenticeship with NVQ/SVQ/City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent qualification; aerospace experience preferred.
• Good understanding of electrical principles.
• Basic understanding of mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatics principles and operation.
• Basic IT literacy.
• Understanding of local and regional HSE Standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine, reactive, troubleshooting and preventive maintenance on manufacturing assets and equipment.
• Utilise precision diagnostic instruments during maintenance.
• Read and interpret drawings, schematics, maintenance manuals and parts catalogues.
• Analyse equipment data to inform maintenance approaches and KPI reporting.
• Coordinate maintenance activities with Production staff and engineers.
• Support induction and cross-training of team members.
