Job summary

Rolls-Royce Ansty site is seeking a Mechatronic Technician to join the Fan case production team. You will perform routine, reactive and preventive maintenance, diagnose faults with precision instruments, read drawings, and coordinate maintenance with production staff to keep equipment safe and available.

You will analyse data to drive improvements and support new team members. You will collaborate with Manufacturing Engineers, support OEM engineers, and contribute to achieving high performance

Qualifications

• Completed an advanced modern engineering apprenticeship and an NVQ/SVQ/City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent qualification.
• Good understanding of electrical principles.
• Basic understanding of mechanical, hydraulic pneumatics principles and operation.
• Basic IT literacy.
• Understanding of local and regional HSE Standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform a range of routine, reactive, troubleshooting and preventive maintenance tasks across manufacturing assets and production equipment to ensure safe, available and capable equipment.
• Utilise precision diagnostic instruments during maintenance and analyse equipment data to inform maintenance approaches.
• Read machinery drawings, circuit diagrams and maintenance manuals to enable maintenance and diagnostics.
• Coordinate preventive/planned maintenance with Production Staff and Leaders, interfacing with Production Operators.
• Work with site Manufacturing Engineers to restore equipment performance to standard and support cross-training of team members.
