Job summary

Rolls-Royce in Solihull is seeking a Manufacturing Services Technician - Mechatronics to perform diagnostics, repairs and routine maintenance on production equipment across the site. You will use precision instruments, read schematics and work with Production Staff to keep lines safe, available and meeting quality targets.

You will typically follow a time-served apprenticeship to NVQ level 3, apply basic mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatics principles, and contribute to continuous improvements

Qualifications

• Time-served apprenticeship or equivalent experience to NVQ level 3.
• Basic understanding of mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic principles.
• Basic IT literacy.
• Understanding of local and regional HSE standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics, repairs and preventive maintenance on manufacturing assets and production equipment.
• Utilise precision diagnostic instruments during maintenance tasks.
• Analyse equipment data to determine the best maintenance approach.
