Job summary

Rolls-Royce in Washington (UK) is seeking a Manufacturing Services Team Member - Mechatronics to perform diagnostics, repairs and maintenance on production assets. You will interpret drawings, coordinate preventive maintenance with production teams, and work with engineers to restore equipment performance.

Qualifications

• NVQ level 3 or equivalent in relevant time served apprenticeship.
• HNC qualification preferred.
• Good knowledge of electrical principles required.
• Basic understanding of mechanical, hydraulic pneumatics principles and operation.
• Basic IT literacy.
• Understanding of local and regional HSE Standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine, reactive, troubleshooting and preventive maintenance on manufacturing assets and equipment to ensure safe, available and capable operation.
• Utilise precision diagnostic instruments during maintenance and analyse equipment data to optimise maintenance approaches.
• Read machinery drawings and maintenance manuals to enable diagnostics and maintenance.
• Coordinate preventive and planned maintenance with Production staff and leadership.
• Support equipment OEM engineers and work with site Manufacturing Engineers to restore equipment performance.
