Mechanical Technician Bedford Salary GBP28k - GBP35k

+ generous shift allowance (good shift pattern, 6 30 and 14 00 rotating)

We have a fantastic new opportunity for a Mechanical Technician to join an industry leading Bedford-based R&D company. You will join a friendly and supportive team responsible for the inspections, fault-finding, maintenance and repairs of equipment, installation of new equipment, and implementation of improvements to the existing plant equipment.

This role requires candidates to be able to gain UK Security Clearance.

Requirements Mechanical Technician:

• Recent and relevant experience in installing, maintaining and repairing industrial systems and plant equipment (high pressure compressed air systems, water cooling & treatment systems, lubrication/hydraulic systems, machinery, rotating components, linkages etc.)
• Understanding of quality standards and excellent attention to detail.
• A team player with good communication skills and the ability to support/mentor less experienced staff.

Salary: circa GBP28k - GBP35k + Shift allowance + benefits
